Marvel.com has released images of their upcoming San Diego Comic Con 2014 exclusives, some of which are Guardians of the Galaxy related. SDCC will take place from July 24th through July 27th, and their exclusives have been known to cause long lines, so get there early! Among these exclusives are four things that Galaxians will undoubtedly try to get their hands on. They are...

AWESOME: First Look At GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Rocket And Groot Hot Toys Figures

Hot Toys has released images of their upcoming sixth-scale Rocket and Groot figures from Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy film. There are three purchasing options: Rocket (by himself), Groot (by himself), or both together. The figures aren't yet available for purchase, and are expected to be released early next year. Here's the description for the figures:
"The movie-accurate Rocket Collectible Figure is specially crafted based on his unique physique in the film. It features a finely sculpted head and body, specially tailored costume, weapon, and specially designed figure stand.
The movie-accurate Groot Collectible Figure features highly detailed head and body with amazing paint application to reflect his distinctive appearance, and a specially designed figure stand.
The Rocket and Groot Collectible Set will exclusively include an additional interchangeable angry expression face and a pair of partially clenched angry palms for Groot."

The Collector Looks Menacing In His Brand New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Character Poster

We've been getting lots of character posters for the Guardians of the Galaxy film recently. First the heroes, then the side characters, then the villains. Now, we've got the poster for a character which is a little bit "greyer" than most: The Collector. 

Actor Benicio Del Toro plays Taneleer Tivan (aka The Collector), who was first seen in the post credits scene of Thor: The Dark World. His character (you guessed it) is a collector, who keeps all different kinds of cosmic creatures in cages. *SPOILER: Should we expect to see Howard The Duck in one of his cages? We'll find out in two weeks!

Bad Days is an animated series on YouTube, which features Marvel characters in funny situations. They recently released the tenth episode of their third season, which features the Guardians of the Galaxy!! SPOILER: A Familiar Face From The Comics Appears In The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Film

A friendly Galaxian who has seen the Guardians of the Galaxy film has provided us details about the role of a certain character from the Guardians comics. If you are avoiding all spoilers for the film, please don't read any further!

We are told by our source that Cosmo (the Russian space dog) does appear in the film as part of The Collector's collection. He is said to be "wearing the space suit, but doesn't have any dialogue." In the film, The Collector's cages are shattered and all of his collected species break free. This leaves room for Cosmo to appear in the sequel with a much larger role!


Cosmo could, however, have a speaking role in the post-credit scene of the film, which James Gunn said will go unseen until the wide release of the film on August 1st.

On Monday, July 21st, 2014, the Guardians of the Galaxy red carpet premiere took place in Hollywood at El Capitan Theater. Funko, the company that creates the ever popular POP! bobbleheads, has just announced a Rocket Raccoon figure for their new 'Fabrikations' line. These figures look similar to the POP! figures (with big heads and small bodies) but have one major difference: they are cuddly! There is sure to be a LOT of Galaxians scooping this figure up!
