On April 9th, 2014, the Guardians of the Galaxy will be teaming up with Marvel's most popular super-heroine, Carol Danvers a.k.a Captain Marvel! In Captain Marvel #2, which features Captain Marvel traveling into the deepest corners of space, she will encounter our favorite ragtag team of misfits. The issue is penned by Kelly Sue DeConnick, with art by David Lopez. Check out some of the artwork by David Lopez, on the left.
The comic will also lead directly into the double-sized Guardians of the Galaxy #14, which features both Captain Marvel and current Thunderbolts member, Venom, teaming up with The Guardians.
